Ethereum retained its leadership in the blockchain ranking in terms of DApps user activity.

Users of blockchain applications (DApps) deployed on Ethereum were most active in the third quarter of 2020.

This is the conclusion reached by researchers from the DappRadar team, who published a report on the status of 13 leading blockchains. It says that the total volume of transactions on the networks was $ 125 billion.

Compared to the second quarter of 2020, the amount of transactions increased by about $ 113 billion. 96% of transactions were made by users of services deployed on Ethereum ($ 119.5 billion). At the end of the third quarter, the total volume of transactions on the leading blockchain was $ 109 billion higher compared to the second quarter ($ 10.2 billion). After Ethereum, the Tron and EOS networks shared the second and third places in terms of DApps user activity.

The number of Ethereum addresses that are active daily increased by 154%. This trend is a result of the record high popularity of DeFi market users and decentralized exchanges launched on the ETH blockchain.
