Litecoin Trades At Highest Values Since March 2018

Litecoin rate (LTC) this week rose to a three-year high. The coin broke through resistance at $ 200 and rose to its highest level since early March 2018. At the time of this review's publication, LTC is trading at around $ 216. Altcoin capitalization rose to $ 14.335 billion.

The expansion is taking place against the backdrop of very good network performance of Litecoin. LTC hash rate has risen to its highest since September 2019 and is now just over 300 terahesh per second (TH / s).

Transactional activity on the blockchain is also increasing. According to the latest data from the BitinfoCharts service, the network now processes, on average, about 92,270 transactions per day. The number of new addresses also reached its highest level in three years.

Note that at the beginning of January of this year, Litecoin was in the top three altcoins, but then the coin began to lose ground.

Now LTC is trying to rise again as high as possible in the ranking of the largest digital currencies. Today the coin is on the eighth line. In order to bypass the closest competitor Binance Coin (BNB), the litecoin capitalization must exceed $ 20.582 billion, which is clearly beyond the power of the altcoin.
